Listing Reviews and Spot Checks

Our team reviews listings to keep Nigeria Property Centre safe and accurate for everyone. This protects property seekers and helps genuine advertisers like you get trusted enquiries.

Most listings go live straight away

When you publish a listing, it usually goes live immediately, and our team reviews listings to keep the website accurate.

Awaiting review

Some listings are checked before they go live. You'll see Awaiting Review on the listing in My Listings. It usually goes live within 24 hours, and there's nothing you need to do.

Spot checks

A small number of listings are randomly selected for a spot check. You'll see a message that the listing has been randomly selected. We'll review it and publish it. There's no need to post it again or contact us.

Please don't post it again while you wait

Posting the same property again while it's being reviewed creates a duplicate, which can delay things. Your original listing will be published once it's reviewed.

If we need to change anything

Sometimes we tidy a listing (for example removing a phone number from the description) or need you to make a change. If so, we'll email you to explain what and why.

Has it been longer than 24 hours?

Reviews happen during our working hours (Monday to Friday, 7am to 7pm). If your listing has been waiting longer than 24 working hours, please contact us with the listing reference and we'll look into it.
