Picture Guidelines
Great photos are one of the best ways to get more enquiries. Seekers want to see the real property, clearly and honestly.
Adding pictures
- You can add up to 25 pictures per listing (JPG, PNG or HEIC, up to 8 MB each).
- Take pictures in landscape format, in good light.
- Your first picture is your cover photo. It's what seekers see in the search results, so choose your best one.
- Verified pictures, taken with the camera in our mobile app at the property, help your listing rank higher.
What makes a good picture
- A clear, straight photo of the property in this listing.
- Rooms, outside views and features buyers and renters care about.
- Photos of the property in that listing only. Please don't use the same photos for different properties.
Pictures we remove
- Blurry, slanted or upside-down photos
- Screenshots, or pictures copied from other websites
- Pictures with a price, location, text or emojis added, or another company's watermark
- Selfies, or people posing for the camera
- Pictures that are only a logo, a cartoon or unrelated to the property
- A generic "Land for sale" sign or stock image instead of the actual land
- Inappropriate content
Allowed with care
- 3D pictures: only if the listing says the property is off-plan or under construction.
- Flyers: only for this property, unaltered, and alongside real photos.
- Documents, maps or plans: fine alongside real photos, placed after them.
- People: please avoid people in your photos, especially your cover photo.
If we remove a picture
We'll email you with the subject Some pictures on your listing need replacing, explaining why. Simply add new photos taken at the property.
